The Rise of an “Underdog”

Posted on January 02, 2008 by Nick

After raising a record breaking $32 million dollars in the month of January 2008, Barack Obama still considers himself and his 2008 democratic presidential campaign the “Underdog”. The race for the democratic presidential nomination is really just getting started as more states jumped on Obama’s bandwagon than Hillary’s. As of this evening Hillary Clinton is up 818 delegates compared to Obama’s 732 delegates which includes the so-called superdelegates.

The next primary will be held in the state of Louisiana over the weekend of Feb 09, 2008. It has been said Barack Obama have the edge because he’s well funded and some of Black vote remains go his way. Louisiana is worth 67 delegates.
