I was just reading confessions of a Circuit City Firedoq Technician this morning. As you may have already known, Circuit City went bankrupt and closed it’s doors in the first quarter of this year. In the article, the Firedog technician recommended to use Spybot Search and Destroy instead of Webroot Spysweeper.

I didn’t even know that there such a software out there. Spybot Search an Destroy is free of charge. According to BetaNews.com “Spybot – Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications.”

So I downloaded Spybot and will install it to cleanup my pc today. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
