The Internet is a kind of “electronic library” offering a public forum and easy access to groups and individuals to provide information, advertise products, exchange the latest gossip, play games and yes, distribute pornographic material. This has been a controversial topic that the government and politicians have been dealing with for quite so time. It is the easy accessibility to the Internet, and the content and images that children can see that makes pornography on the Internet an important controversy. Pornography is one of those terms that is contested and heavily debated, but no matter what the definition, it is clear that there are photos, graphic images, video tapes, and writings on the Internet that almost everyone would find offensive. Few people outside Germany expected the three-times winners to reach the quarter-finals, let alone the last four, after arriving at the tournament with a squad lacking in big international names of previous German campaigns. But they have to be considered one of the favorites now after a clinical display in Cape Town which left coach Diego Maradona’s Argentina humiliated.
It was supposed to be the clash of the titans yet this tie was so one-sided that it was more like men-versus-boys. Germany, beaten by Serbia in the group stages, never looked back after Thomas Mueller opened the scoring as early as the third minute. Read the rest of this entry →

What a rough week it was, to top it all off, we’ll be taking our Anatomy and Physiology I finals tomorrow. Lookout for Bank Atlantic Bancorp (BBX) first quarter report on May 5. Another REIT that have been inching it’s way to the upside is Capital Trust (CT). (CT) will post 1st Quarter results May 04, 2010.
YRCW is one of the most popular penny-stock listed on a major exchange but i’m not sure about the number of outstanding shares. The company reports first quarter results May 12. YRCW once a multi-billion dollar trucking company, is currently traded at 0.56/share on the NASDAQ.
Goldman Sachs (GS) woes are as temporary as an earthquake in Southern California. It’s shares are currently being traded at $145/share, just about the same as a year ago. What’s bad for Goldman Sachs is good for an opportunist. You can buy Goldman’s July 2010 option calls at post investigation strike price for about $2-3/share.

This was sent to me via Facebook… “Lets pray for all victims and injured in the Karachi blast and condemn this act. May their innocent souls rest in peace. May God give courage to the victim families. May God show the path to the misguided people who do such cowardly acts. May God serve the Justice. Keep Faith In our hearts. We are not affected by these plans to shake our nation and disrupt Unity. Pray for the victims at the same time make the terrorists our prey and destroy them once for all!”

Congratulations to all in the U.S Senate Finance Committee that voted in favor of reforming the nations healthcare insurance system. Montana Senator Max Baucus’s plan passed with a 14-9 vote consisting of 13 Democrats and 10 Republicans. Snowe, a Republican Senator of Maine sided with the Democrats and also ask other who apposed to take another look. It may not be perfect, but it’s definitely a start of something and better than doing nothing.

In a brutal job market, here’s a task that might sound easy: Fill jobs in nursing, engineering and energy research that pay $55,000 to $60,000, plus benefits. Yet even with 15 million people hunting for work, even with the unemployment rate nearing 10 percent, some employers can’t find enough qualified people for good-paying career jobs.
Ask Steve Jones, a hospital recruiter in Indianapolis who’s struggling to find qualified nurses, pharmacists and MRI technicians. Or Ed Baker, who’s looking to hire at a U.S. Energy Department research lab in Richland, Wash., for $60,000 each. Read the rest of this entry →

In case I don’t wake up from this coma, please tell my baby that I loved her. Tell her how much I always cherish her. Take her pictures and mine in this useless vegetable state. Tell her that I cared. Lastly, tell her that i’m sorry and I’ll see her in the next lifetime.

Having good credit opens many doors, having bad credit means more doors are closed. But there is always a way to restore your good credit standing, be sure to always make your credit card payments on or before the due date each month and making more than the minimum payment reflects positively on my personal credit report.

Last night, NBA his airness Michael Jordan was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in a ceremony in Springfield, Massachusetts. Jordan was the last one to speak at the ceremony and he seemed to have started a fire around the league with some of his comments.
Jordan spent much of his time talking about people that had very little to do with basketball career’s success. As a fan, I just want to congratulate him and hope he grows up. The fact that he briefly mentioned Scottie Pippen as just another player he played with and won 6 championships was a disgrace. Without Scottie Pippen, Jordan would probably never win a championship.

I’m a newbie in Options trading. Actually I just finished reading a few articles to help me get started in Options. Today, I made my very first Options trade worth about $287.00. I bought 11 options contracts for the December 2009 CTIC call strike price of $2.50. CTIC is expecting big news from the FDA regarding a new cancer drug. I don’t own the underlying stock which is currently trading at $1.64.
In order to broaden up my the little that I know of Options trading and investing, I ordered two books from Amazon.com. They’re called “The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing” and “A Beginner’s Guide to Day Trading Online (2nd edition)”.
