This week Miramar, Florida based Spirit Airlines announced it will soon be charging customers for placing their carry-on luggage in overhead bins. The charges will range from $30 for advance payment to $45 for paying at the gate. Also, a European airline plans to charge customers up to $1.50 for use of their on-board bathrooms.
